Vaida is a dedicated and highly trained acupuncturist, accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board and a proud member of the British Acupuncture Council and The Acupuncture Fertility Network.
“My journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine began with my own transformative experience with acupuncture, which inspired me to commit myself to helping others through this remarkable practice. Today, I’m honoured to offer acupuncture treatments at my two clinics in Tufnell Park, North London.”
Before discovering her passion for holistic care, Vaida worked as a TV reporter and journalist, but she often found herself searching for something more meaningful. She has always been fascinated by the connection between the body, mind, and soul, and longed for a practice that would allow her to deepen her understanding. Acupuncture has given her that fulfilment—allowing her to offer care and compassion to individuals on their unique healing journeys.
Supporting others has always come naturally to Vaida. For the past 10 years, she has also worked as a Birth Doula, guiding families through pregnancy and birth. This experience has given her a deep understanding of female health, as well as valuable insight into how the NHS operates while supporting clients throughout their pregnancy and childbirth journey or any health issues that may arise.
“I may work in the healing arts, but I’m no mystical being — I live a regular life in North London with my husband and two kids. I love exploring our vibrant city, trying new restaurants, cooking, exercising, and escaping into books, theatre, movies, and gigs.”
Even though Vaida grew up surrounded by nature, spending summers on her grandparent’s farm, she’s learned to love the energy of London while still staying grounded in the rhythms of nature. Tuning into seasonal cycles and listening to her body is something she cherishes, and encourages her patients to do too.
