Ella trained at the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) where she spent four year studying Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element Acupuncture. The integration of these two styles gives Ella a breadth and depth of approach that is distinctive.

With awareness that acupuncture can find people at varying points in their lives, Ella aims to provide a welcoming and safe space in her clinic, based out of her West London home. Initially Ella takes an in-depth case history allowing time for her patients to fully explore their physical, mental and emotional health. She then creates a personalised and adaptable treatment plan encompassing both acupuncture and lifestyle advice.

Ella first received acupuncture as a teenager and she found the experience to be both revelatory and life altering. As her interest deepened she decided to return to university to study Chinese Medicine and her subsequent acupuncture practice is greatly influenced by her own health and wellbeing journey. The beauty of acupuncture is that nothing is treated in isolation; the body is always viewed from the whole. It is this interplay between body, mind and spirit that Ella places at the heart of her practice. She uses her knowledge and grounding in Chinese Medicine theory alongside her personal experience and intuition to treat a wide range of issues. These include (but are not limited to) anxiety, low mood, insomnia, headaches, musculo-skeletal pain, long COVID, menstrual issues, male and female fertility, digestive health and the pregnancy and post partum journey.

Ella understands that life is constantly changing, throwing up new challenges, and now more than ever requires a deeper level of resilience from us all. Ella hopes to share with her clients the benefits of acupuncture as a preventative medicine with the capacity to treat acute and chronic health issues, as well as providing a tonic to our system even when there isn’t anything specifically ‘wrong’.

After having two daughters Ella wanted to deepen her understanding of women’s health and completed a year long diploma in acupuncture for Gynaecology, Fertility and Obstetrics. Prior to COVID Ella spent three years volunteering at Portobello Affordable Acupuncture, a low cost community acupuncture clinic in West London. She is also a certified coach recognised by the Association for Coaching, as well as a trained yoga teacher having studied under the guidance of Amba and Don Stapleton in Nosara, Costa Rica.

Ella is a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
